An interesting city with much heritage, a very walkable and attractive city centre, and some great art.
The historic Government Centre courtyard is (normally) freely accessible to pedestrians. Part of the same complex is the Mauritshuis museum, housing exquisite works by Rembrands, Vermeer, Potter, Hals, and many others.
Lower-key than Amsterdam with much less tourists, it's my favourite town in Holland.

We stayed one night at the hotel in room 306, which overlooks the street. Although the room overlooks the street, it is quiet, and we were not disturbed by noise. The room was impeccably clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Our bathroom had a bath, and I took the opportunity to have a bath, my first in a long time - wonderful and relaxing as we have a shower at home. With any hotel, the staff is at the front of everything, and the staff that we met, from the front of the house to others, were great ambassadors for the hotel. All were welcoming, friendly, and professional at all times. I would 100% stay at this small hotel again and recommend it to anyone who visits Den Haag; it is right in the centre and close to bus and tram routes. Shops, restaurants, and museums are all within five minutes walking distance.

The Hague is much less touristy than Amsterdam and far less industrial than Rotterdam. I fell in love with the city on my first visit and have been back twice
It's easy to get around the city, everyone speaks English and the architecture is impresive.
If I'd visited in my 20's I would have definitely considered living there permanently

what I liked most was that it was easy to walk around or take public transport, but food was very expensive. My favourite places was going to the den hagg city centre and open market. I eat their fish called Lekker bek and their soup called Erwtensoep with Broodje Kroket. I loved their chips with mayo, very nice. I will avoid to eat close to the train stations is more expensive.
Modern and clean, human-size business hotel, right in the center - most sites could be discovered on foot. Room was large and comfortable, including a sofa. Regular equipment for this category of hotels (hair dryer, iron board, safe, minibar, etc). Bathroom was large, luminous, spotlessly clean, modern. Common spaces (bar, lobby) were nice and modern. Safe parking right under the hotel (charged 30€ / night - not cheap, but that's the price in The Hague.
- Very nice interior design
- Hotel room had a good size (we had Standard Queen room)
- Bathroom had a nice big shower
- Minibar with water, tea and coffee
- Bed was big and cozy
- Breakfast was great too, but would be great if you could also eat outside or in your room
- Hotel is located right in the heart of den Haag and only 20 minutes bike right to the beach
- Parking garages near by (we used Museumkwartier, which is only a 5-7 minute walk away)
Perfect place to stay in the city center. The hotel is close to the central station and there is a tram stop around the corner to reach other destinations.
The staff is very friendly and surprised me with balloons and desert on my birthday. They also provided us with a free drink in the restaurant as our check in took longer than usual.
Great view and very comfortable beds.
The breakfast was fine, fresh and tasty.
Our stay at the Marriott was everything we'd hoped it would be, and more, from start to finish. The staff greeted and cared for us so incredibly well throughout our stay, going the extra mile time and time again to ensure the entire family felt welcomed and enjoyed the stay. We all recommend this hotel to other travellers without hesitation and will definitely be staying again on our next visit to The Hague.
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Nice experience with the wheel-of-fortune (for instance to win free breakfast or some Dutch gifts).
- Very good price-quality relationship.
- Free room upgrade (corner apartment).
- Good breakfast package.
- Relatively closely located to the city center (and the railway station of The Hague HS).
- Free parking of the car or bike at the hotel garage.
Our family love this hotel. My dog and I try to visit the hotel at least once every few months. The hotel has very friendly staff, they love dogs., There is a beach for dogs. Beautiful sea view, delicious continental breakfast and buffet. Near a variety of restaurants, supermarket, bus stop to go to the city center. We will return to this hotel again for sure.
Travel and gathering for groups and young people, the hotel has large public area such as bar restaurant, sport area, recreation area desk area for remote work. Direct access to public transport and Den Haag HS Station (attention: not Den Haag Centraal), markets and restaurants in direct neighborhood. Easy access to city center and beach by public transportation.
Very convenient location and easy walk to train station (Den Haag HS), city center, and supermarkets in area. Comfortable room and a modern and clean bathroom. It is a student accommodation during university semesters, and it definitely has that feel but as an overnight accommodation in The Hague it is a great option. Greeted at reception by friendly staff.
This is one of the best hotels I stayed for the past two years in the Netherlands. It is highly recommended for both short and longer stay. Excellent location, car park icluding EV charge is right below the hotel which is very convenient and all the public transport connections are there. Excellent stuff. Excellent.
Very good breakfast. Rich selection. Very good location of the hotel, close to public transport. The hotel itself is located in the center of The Hague, close to tourist attractions. Good access by public transport to the main station.
Amazing location. Bus line 22 takes you to city center and main train station.. and to the sea in the other direction. The hotel has charm and style. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The location is great, close to the Central Station and other means of transportation. I can't say if the price/quality is worth it as it was the first time I traveled to the Netherlands.
Breakfast was very good. The location near the beach was ideal. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode to city center and along the beach. All that was very nice.
The hotel is on a really pretty street in the heart of the Hague! Really pretty, antique furniture gave the room a very classic look and the bed was very comfy.
